And for those who are wondering “godiva”…Godiva is the Latinized form of the Old English name Godgyfu meaning “gift of god”.

I had the pleasure of photographing this amazing couple on Sunday afternoon. I,Magellan, was lost and running late. I was feeling a bit gloomy over the entire ordeal. When I finally arrived Rad, the father to be, welcomed me in. Despite his wonderful hospitality, I simply couldn’t shake my awful mood. That is until I meet Naty. As she entered the room, her ethereal grace and zest for life instantly filled the room. Needless to say, one could only hope to capture such an overpowering spirit in photographs.

A much older visitor | South Florida Newborn Photographer

This little princess was much older than our usual newborn. She was 36 days old on the day of her session and also a full term baby. She was a complete angel whom at such a tender age was not a fan of Queen by any means. Oddly enough seemed to enjoy Train and Rob Thomas.

Baby Zion was so calm and sweet. Mr. Zion was 7 days new to the world on the day of his newborn photography session. I wanted to thank his family for taking such a LONG drive to visit our studio.

Another Rose….. | South Florida Newborn Photographer

During a week of solid girls, we had the pleasure of having another Rose visit our natural light studio. This itty bitty Rose gave her parents quite a surprise when she elected to arrive 5 weeks early, while they were on vacation. She is absolutely precious and exceptionally well behaved. She was all smiles.

Welcome to the world baby Rose, I’m sure you will add color and delight where ever life takes you.

This tiny little one is the first Rose of 2012 (the last baby of 2011 was also a Rose). She is absolutely gorgeous (luck me… all my babies are simply gorgeous) and slept for her entire session. The little missy at only 15 days old already is desperately needing a manicure.

I’m beyond excited to debut my new branding….thanks to the fabulous Jodi Bell of 15sixteen for her amazing talent.

I’m just returning from winter break. I’ll be replying to all the emails and text messages late tomorrow afternoon.

And to a special client who was already harassing me about adding boys to my new website….they will be added soon as I’m not done yet =) !!!!
